Who needs talent when everyone else has more?

This is a nursing cover my sister made for me—with all the bells and whistles that a modern day nursing cover needs (or so I hear.) It's reversible! How's that for girl and boy versatility? And the trickiest part, it's got a secret little cord that you can pull around and velcro to the other side—all for avoiding wind mishaps. Oh, and she also supplied me with a matching car seat cover, in case it's still cold in April. I haven't figured out how to attach it yet, but I've still got two whole months for that.

I'm also the beneficiary of the skillfulness of another good friend, who, out of the kindness of her heart is whittling away at a diaper bag for me. Should be a real looker, too, once complete.

So it's really beginning to look a lot like baby around here. The little miss has already accumulated more hair doodads than I've ever owned. But of course, I got by on those plastic-yet-looked-like glass beads from the 80 and 90's for the first decade (plus a few years) of my life. And oddly enough I couldn't find a
single picture of my old hair-accessory-of-choice on Google. But you all know what I'm talking about, right? Well anyway, I had the fortune of getting to rummage through a giveaway box of Gimme Clips hair goodies at work the other day. Here's my loot:

With paraphernalia streaming in on a more and more regular basis, I think it might be time to invest in a dresser. And note—the baby shoes! Thanks be to kind family members. Who's with me on motioning that baby shoes be dubbed among the top five most adorable items on the planet?

I love that you have such a talented sister as well! I've been the beneficiary of her talents more than once! She's amazing.
It's looking like Little Baby Giles (does she have a name yet?) is going to be one stylin' girl. I wouldn't expect anything less.

The nursing cover and car seat cover are super cute! Are you talking about bobbles? I think that's what they were called. I found some on this site you can even buy them along with a thousand other things. It is http://www.ikickshins.net/accessories.php
