All Clara wants for Christmas is her own set of genuine leather coasters from Bed, Bath and Beyond.

Or perhaps more appropriately, all Season wants for Christmas is for Clara to have her own set of coasters so her current ones can have some slobber relief. See those toys tossed haphazardly behind her? That's because coasters are the only way to true happiness. MUST-HAVES for our 2010 Christmas.

Okay, but that's not completely accurate either. Because let's face it—that's definitely not all I want for Christmas. In fact, I hadn't even thought about it once until I sat down to create this post.  In fact, I don't really want new coasters. I couldn't care less about new coasters—so please nobody give me coasters for Christmas.

And another thing about Clara. If you ask her if she likes bananas, she'll shake her head no. If you ask her anything, for that matter, her response is no. But don't be fooled—she's actually quite agreeable. She's also picked up waving, which warms my already-melted mother's heart. As does this cute, drool-ridden little grin:

Anyway. As I always say—on to the bananas. This one's for all you grandmothers out there.

Clara is so dang cute! I've been trying to get Scarlett to shake her head, and she just looks at me like I'm crazy! And I swear there is no sense in buying babies toys.

p.s. S has that same heart onesie. Target?

Very very cute! Sometimes a trying stage when they want to slobber on everything but it does pass. Love the lighting in your pics - do you have a fancy DSLR, some sort of homemade flash diffuser, or edit the heck out of the pics? Just curious!

That picture is too cute.
And for the record -- she makes me want to eat mushy bananas.

Julie: Target indeed!

Stephanie: We do have an SLR (bought it just after Clara was born)—however the window in our front room lets in some lovely light at certain parts of the day, and that helps the most.

Clara has good taste - those are really cute coasters.

Lucy started shaking her head no, and the first thing that came to my mind when she did it the other day was how much I miss Clara! Clara must have been teaching Lucy how to do it when you guys were here :)

Now she just needs to teach Lucy to wave! We could put them on Skype and they could just wave back and forth to each other.

She is such a doll! I absolutely love the slobbery pictures. :)

James hasn't figured out any tricks just yet. We are working so hard on waving, but its just not happening.
