A little bit of this, a little less of that.

Two gold stars for you if you recognize this movie. And this is the life for Clara when I'm not around. Who needs a love sack when you've got this set up? Trust me—our pillows are comfy. Tom arranged this for her today while I went into work for a bit to have a meeting. Because it's that time of year again! Time for me to hunker down on the couch and work a milliontrillion hours. And possibly pull my hair out. There could be eye twitches, heart palpitations. At least, if last year is any indication of how things are going to go this year. It's the Oh My Crafts' Discovering Possibilities event coming up again in October, and I'll be working on the book of instructions. And this year we're tacking on 16 more pages! Confetti and sprinkles!

So, come September, if you don't hear from me, it's probably because I'm drowning in work. And if you do hear from me, it's probably safe to assume that my eyes are twitching.

Furthermore, next week Tom starts up a new semester of school and a new shift at work. The only two good things about this new shift is that he'll be able to attend church regularly (hip hip!) and I'll be able to go to mutual sans Clara. All the rest is pretty lame. Lame with a capital everything.

So if you don't hear from him, it's probably because he's drowning in exhaustion. And if you do hear from him, just go ahead and assume that he's still probably drowning in exhaustion.

Segue into an off-topic photo:

Technically, she's not allowed to pull out all the tupperware while I'm in the kitchen cooking. We've got a bit of a space quandary, if you will. But alas, you can see how well that technicality works. It's just that she was so—occupied. So I went ahead and dealt with it and just maneuvered around with some fancy footwork. The Giles' Kitchen Two-Step.

Also unrelated: Last night I said "bakin' cookin'" when I really meant to say "cookin' bacon." ...Maybe you had to be there? Maybe you had to be there.

Fare thee well, dear Blogdom. Until we meet again.

bakin' cookin', I love it when I say stuff like that.
Thank goodness for tupperware. We only use about half of what we own, but I don't want to get rid if it because I need to use it for toddler entertainment.
Can't wait to see your trampoline skillz. The z was intentional :)
Good luck with work! Try not to neglect the blog too much. We need updates!

I was going to say Snow White. The version where she kneels by the pigpen. I'm impressed that the legs on that stroller aren't buckling.

Pretty soon you won't be able to make dinner WITHOUT stepping over 1 million items, be it tupperware, shoes, homework, etc. You'll become a master of maneuvering simply because it's easier to step around and kick it out of the way rather than merely bend over. Good luck with all that work stuff!
