She's wasted no time worming her way into our hearts. Clara's mostly been keeping her distance but it won't be too long before they're bffs. And what do you guys think? I think she looks like Clara, just less cheeks.
We got home from the hospital last night. We could have stayed another day, but just wanted to come home. And then my mom graciously stayed up pretty much all night with Maren so I could sleep. My mom, I tell you. She's a rock star.
I'm pleased to say that I'm not a total mess this time around. So that's something to be proud of. I've heard from countless people that the second is easier, and well, she's only 2 days old so I can't really give a verdict yet. But the labor was much easier. She more or less walked out.
So with that said, I shall be on my way whilst leaving a few more pictures. My goal is to feed Maren around 11 p.m.—which means I need to start trying to wake her up now. Two hours in advance. Mmm-hmmm. The newborn life.
