So once I decided to start a blog, I was burdened with the task of a title. I handle the task of titling anything with upmost seriousness. I could never be satisfied with a mainstream name to mark my monumental decision to begin a blog. I received a good dose of creative inspiration from my friend Libby's blog: "A little ray of sunshine...with a pocketful of angst." And so, after much deliberation, I have decided upon "Coming to terms with sloppy joes." To explain the title, I first must give some detail of a current project I am working on (another urge sparking from unemployment).
Years ago, when Tom and I first met at BYU-Idaho, we almost instantly became e-mailing pen-pal-ing maniacs. We accumulated close to 80 e-mails between the years of 2005-2007. Trust me though, they're hardly love letters. Anyway, I've begun the process of compiling these e-mails into a book. As I was going back through all of our absurd discussions and musings, I found one October 2005 e-mail from me titled "I'm glad you've finally come to terms with sloppy joes." Due to the content within that particular e-mail, I decided that it would be fitting to title the entire book "Coming to terms with sloppy joes." And well, I liked the title enough to have it stretch further into my newly-acquired blog.
Here are a few more pages from the book.

I already love it so very much:)
I can't wait to see the book complete. Are you sharing when you are finished?
Good luck with the new blog thing. It is fun. You'll like it.

Oops, my mom was signed it. Good thing I signed my name.

Looks like I already commented! I so hate it when others put words in my mouth! Congrats on the new boucing baby BLOG! Were we supposed to be able to read the emails or was that a teaser? I daresay I've not seen Thomas' hair that kempt and short since he came out of the womb! Go BYU standards/ID's!
That's really cool, Seas... What a great idea! :)
I am going to have to become a devoted blog-reader just to know what is going on with my kids/grandkids. Loved your first attempt! Kris
Consider yourself accomplished if you've gotten mom to read! No need to think of it as following the crowd -- it's family history and we're supposed to do that :) Your book looks really cool! I'm excited to read your blog...although I do wish you employment as well.
Your image editing skills impress me! Then again you are a graphic designer! You are one talented and crazy girl!
