Oh, if only we lived in a photoshopped world.

I have a sincere appreciation for Photoshop. Long before I got married I knew very well just what a wonderful program it was, but it really saved the day for my wedding pictures. I don't mean to suggest I had a bad photographer -- on the contrary she was great and I loved the job that she did. The problem was me. I was enormously bothered by the amount of zits that had popped up all over my face prior to the wedding, and despite all of my efforts, refused to go away. However, the good news is that most will never have to view the real me from my wedding day thanks to my dear, dear Photoshop. It's true, I spent countless hours painstakingly going through each wedding picture fixing everything. I have no qualms about changing the "reality" of a picture to the reality I wish it had been.

And here's a particular favorite...

Could I look any more ridiculous? (okay, that's debatable...) But the point is, it's nothing that a little dash of Photoshop can't fix.

Wah-lah. With a new set of eyes, the picture is presentable.
Bless you, Photoshop.

I would love to have your knowledge of Photoshop. I fudge my way around it and I have no idea what i am doing. I love the eye-swap! You do look great!

I want photoshop so bad, but can't afford it . . . yet! I'm sure I will use it all the time when I finally get it. I love how you fixed your photos; although, I must say, I didn't notice one single zit on you the whole time we were there. You did a good job hiding them because I never even saw one. Please tell Tom that Lily keeps asking when she will get to see Uncle Tom again. She loves him so much!

I love that picture of you before you swapped out the eyes. That is great. And I do completely agree, I LOVE PHOTOSHOP! My wedding pictures would not have been the same without it either. It is so great. And I also have no problem with changing reality... Because really, the day for me was perfect, that's how I remember it, so that's how my pictures will show it. :)

Can you please do that to the polygamist picture to make your hair look smooth? Then I will look like a much better polygamist hair stylist. Thank you.
