This is me fulfilling a life-long dream here. When I was little I always wanted to be Alice in Wonderland. So naturally, Clara was the next best thing. (Next we'll move on to Toddlers in Tiaras.) And Maren—such a sport. She took one for the team and endured being called a "he" and "him" by everyone because she looked like a boy in her white rabbit costume. Oh, but she looked so cute though! And me? Well that's where we had a little photo-op fail because we planned to get a picture of all four of us together but it never worked out and then we had to eat dinner tonight and go on a ghost scavenger hunt to find dessert and—whaddoyaknow—by then it was time to go trick-or-treating. I even had this elaborate plan to climb up in a tree with a paint brush and a red rose specifically for an awesome picture. (Part of that is mostly true...) but, alas. So I guess not all of my dreams came true. Moral of the story? My costume looks just like Tom's, only I was an Ace. So now you know.
Clara rocked the trick-or-treating scene. This was her first time out, you know. Once she got the hang of it she was uttering out the cutest little "Trick-or-treat please" you ever could hear and she just melted about 90% of her door greeters on the spot. It was adoracute to the extreme.
Here's a little piece of cinema for the die-hard Clara fans out there. I apologize that my voice is so loud and overpowering. I guess that's just how I am sometimes. But if you watch 'til the end, Clara will tell you she wuvs you. Consider yourself melted.
Two more pictures. (Just to be safe.)

I'm glad you were safe and posted more photos. Man oh man is that Maren a cutie. I love her smiley face. Also, I love bunny's Alice costume. I can see why you got it. Adoracute. Looks like you guys had fun. Did you make the card costumes? They look awesome.
For the record, I got a whole bag of just Nerds to give out. We didn't think we'd have any trick or treaters come to our apartment building, but just in case we made sure to get the good stuff if we *had* to eat it all ourselves.
You guys always have the best costumes by far!! Our kids didn't think we were so fun when we told them we were going as mom and dad. One year I'll actually dress up.
Oh my goodness oh my goodness! Oozing with major cuteness. Oh and we've got Nerds for the masses over here. You are always welcome.
