Marenables.

Maren's got a new facial expression these days. To sum it up, it's basically the face you make when you're trying to impersonate a pirate's "Aaarrrgh," and then you simultaneously step in something gross and smell something horrible—all while squinting to read the white board because you forgot your glasses, and you're so irritated that you suddenly are overcome by demons. You know—that face.

It's her most common face these days. Her go-to facial expression.

Sometimes she'll hold this high-powered scowl for so long that we start worrying that she's stuck like that. But on the contrary—this face only manifests itself when she's content and happy.

And here we have Clara trying to impersonate the Maren stink-eye:

Not even close. I told her to try again:

Please. It's amateur night in Dixie. It's like she's not even trying.

Clearly, no one knows how to be a Maren quite like a Maren.

Whatever! I mean they are both adorable, no matter what face they are in! Can't wait to see you three next week! <3 Thanks for the pics that will hold me over 'til then!

Sort of resembles the face the preschoolers made when they gleefully ran outside for recess only to discover a gazillion feathers and a dismembered pigeon strewn about. That face, with a lot of "EWWWWWs!" But NOTHING compares with my face at that point! :)

Hilarious. I had to squint to read this and then I got irritated because I was overcome by a demon at work. Turns out it was just by boss. I love bunny's first face. It's similar to Jayna's famous deflated face. If you haven't seen it remind her to show it to you this summer.

My niece did a similar expression at that age and it never ceased to be entertaining! So cute. haha

"Stink eye" doesn't seem quite the name when she is happy. "Glee glint" or something--kind of hard to say though.
