Show-off session.

I, for one, was quite stunned to learn that March departed and April took over for the year. I mean, March just took off like it had somewhere to be! And so then it occurred to me that we've lived here for almost ONE year—this "new" apartment of ours.

I think, at one point, I had all these lovely intentions of making our "new" apartment all gussied up and adoracute so I could post pictures and become a Pinterest sensation. Just kidding. I mean, [insert scoff] my life-long dreams are much loftier than being a Pinterest celebrity. (I'm thinking more along the lines of a Season-themed Monopoly...or a Season-themed Clue. Any decent board game will do.)

That being said, I'd like to show off mine and Tom's bedroom! ....The captain's headquarters, if you will. And, I think you're really gonna like what you see.

So, first we have Tom's wall, which is really the main focal point when you walk into the room:

You might note that on the bottom left we've got a beautiful canvas gallery wrap from our wedding lightly leaning against the wall, along with curtain rods that just dominate that corner area.

And go ahead and gaze upon this window treatment:

And by "window treatment," I really mean "lack of window treatment." Besides—window treatments are so cliché. Give me a set of curtain rods leaning in the corner and the actual curtains stuffed messily inside the closet any day.

Across from that is the said closet:

What you can't see in this picture is a wooden sign leaning along the bottom of the wall—which has been leaning there for the past 10 months—which is meant to go above the closet doors. I think it really helps the room to flow.

And finally, my wall:

What's this? Something on the wall? How out-of-the-ordinary. I figure, as long as I get at least one item up per year, then I'll have paced myself just perfectly. And—of course it had to get up on the wall, like, STAT. Where else was I supposed to hang my necklaces? Riddle me that, blogdom! Anyway, also—do notice those cute and classy little picture frames poking out from behind my bedstand—it's all right, little fellas', don't be shy! C'mon! Say hello! ...Also pictures of our gorgeous selves from our gorgeous wedding.

Well. I think that's probably enough showing off for one day. Next I'll show off my favorite wall in the living room. I call it "my favorite wall." It's my favorite because, among many reasons, it showcases at least 25 different cords and cables.

Stay tuned!

Haha oh man Seaz, you're so funny. We have all been there! I mean, we all know you have absolutely NOTHING to do all day long ;)

I'm personally still waiting for the announcement that you, Siegfried and Roy are opening in Vegas. Oh, and the Season-themed wooden dentures, naturally.

Oh Season, I laughed at this post until the cows came home. And I made Nate read it. This post totally describes our bedroom. And we've lived here for 3 years!! So basically I think the pictures and decorations tucked into every nook and cranny of our bedroom will put yours to shame.

Minimalism is the new nouveau, right?

Season, you make me laugh! The only thing you left out of this post is pictures of those two little cutie pies who take up all your decorating time. Hugs.......
