Our growing turnip

Babycenter.com informed me today that our little miss is about the size of an average rutabaga.

Mom and dad couldn't be more proud.

Let's just hope she doesn't look like one.

Soon you'll be sad because they will have no more fruit or vegetable comparisons for you after a certain point. Anyway, this girl I know from high school blogs her weekly food and it reminds me of your blogging style: http://samandamynielson.blogspot.com/You have to go down to like the second most recent post to see what I mean.

Congrats on the rutabaga!

My first missionary companion was the Rutabaga Princess in her small Minnesota hometown of Askov. I regret to admit that I do not even know how big a rutabaga is, but I'm betting it resembles the size of a six month developing baby.

Dad is so pleased! He says you should aim for the size of a good sugar beet when you are full term....just hope she doesn't have green hair! Love you!

P. S. Dad says he can see the family resemblance already. :)

I hope that wasn't a shot at me, Kim.

Don't you just love reading those things! This last week mine said this: "[the baby's] skin also hangs loosely from his or her little body at this point."

My family got quite a kick out of that.

Yay for cute turnips!
